Do you want something to change in your life? Do you want something you’ve never had before? Are you tired of saying what you want, but not moving any closer to getting it? You know that there is something so much greater for you. You know that you have the opportunity to do something different today. So what’s stopping you from doing what you have to do to go where you want to go?
It’s easy to talk the talk but not walk the walk. It’s easy to say you’re going to do something and fail to follow through. For some of you, it’s easy to start, but not to finish. Evaluate yourself and take your own temperature. What gets the blood boiling in you? Is it when you are so frustrated that you want to scream? Is it when you get sick of being sick and tired? Sadly enough, sometimes pain motivates change.
The key is understanding the fact that change is a process. Just because you’ve decided that you want to transition from the old to the new doesn’t mean it will be easy. There will be times when you want to quit, but you have to prepare yourself for that. It is simply not enough to want it, but you have to be willing to step it up.
So what have you done lately to take your life to the next level? Have you said you want to be debt free, but you don’t have a clue how to get there? Have you said you want to lose weight but you haven’t been able to find a system to work? It could be that you’re in a job that pays the bills and you want a career. Maybe you have a relationship that you would like to develop, but you’re afraid to make the first move. Whatever it is for you, it’s time to step it up. There is always something you can do to take your life to the next level.
What do you need to do to step it up? It’s up to you to change your life by using what God has given you. You have everything that you need to take one more step toward your destiny of living a life of purpose. It takes diligence, perseverance, patience, and endurance to experience true change. God uses the issues of life to teach you what is really in you. How would you know how hard you can work if everything was easy? How would you know that you have the ability to persevere if you never wanted to quit? Would you know that you had patience if you never had to wait? Once you are able to endure a series of life trials without complaining every chance you can get, you have received a gift worth more than gold.
It’s okay if you’re not where you want to be just yet. Remember it’s a process that requires your commitment. You may have shed some tears through the process, but God holds your tears in a bottle. You have not wasted a tear you have shed nor a sleepless night. Your pain is not in vain because it’s working something greater in you. It’s showing you the power in you. Ultimately, your trials are designed to make you, not break you. They show you that there’s more in you.
Are you ready to challenge yourself to move from one level to the next? It doesn’t stop here. Set a goal for yourself to step it up. Make sure your goal is SMART. In other words, make sure your goal is specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely. Make it your mission to give your life your personal best regardless of how long it takes to see results. It’s up to you. What are you going to do? Are you ready to step it up?!
